17lb Smoothhound at Cley

Pleasure session brings rewards at Cley: 29th May 2008, Dene Conway grabs a smoothie to remember.

This smoothie was measured at 116cm and had a head like a bulldog,it was caught on fresh peeler crab on a size 2, 2 hook flapper,it is estimated using the conversion chart to be 17lb 5oz and 1/3, it was returned alive to fight another day, at the same venue several other club members including young Henry Randall managed a 97cm smoothhound (10lb +), hopefully in this Sundays match they will show again…..
