Our 3rd attempt to run the North Norfolk Team Challenge against the boys from down South once again came unstuck, maybe they really don’t want to take us on. With some handy Westerly winds with a touch of North forecast the southern contingent were having none of this particularly as there were other lucrative deals closer to home so they opted out. I HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY TREVOR THAT HE HAS HAD TO PULL THE PLUG ON HIS TEAMS PARTICIPATION IN THE FORTH COMING “NORTH NORFOLK TEAM CHALLENGE” EVENT ON SUNDAY DUE TO A NUMBER OF HIS TEAM MEMBERS NOT TOO KEEN TO FISH NORTH NORFOLK IN THE WINDY CONDITIONS THAT ARE FORECAST WITH PROBABLY THE POWNALL’S OPEN MATCH AT GT. THURSDAY 19th FEBRUARY – RSA OPEN MEETING IN NORFOLK
A signing in sheet provided records that 30 anglers and interested parties gathered at Honingham Village hall for this first of a series of meetings arranged by John Abbott & Tom Pinborough to be held across the Eastern Sea Fisheries Joint Committee area.
The meeting was promptly opened at 7.30 p.m by Tom Pinborough who thanked everyone for attending and gave a brief explanation of the reasons for arranging the meet. Tom introduced himself and outlined his past involvement in conservation and angling administration issues. He went on …
